Our fizzy beer

One of the more unusual symptoms from my recent trip through Ireland, Scotland, and England was returning home to find our beer tasted fizzy and over carbonated, guess a few weeks of drinking fresh cask ales will do that to ya. Poor me. Another symptom is feeling too lazy to hash up a decent recap of the whole excursion. So I’ll just give a half arsed time line and fill the rest in with pictures. It went something like this:

Castle – pub – castle – pint – castle – more money – cask ales – rest – cliffs – haggis – castle – whisky – train – cask ales

Now that’s sessionable

Glassware Deal

I was in Above the Rest homebrewing the other day when I was informed of a good deal on glassware taking place at the Dollar Store in the same parking lot. Seems they have a nice selection of tulip glasses for… you guessed it, a dollar each. Unlike a lot of cheap glassware these are actually pretty thick glass, so they shouldn’t break from the slightest bump. Now, these could contain lead, plutonium, brain eating parasites, hell if I know, although they do say “Made in the USA”, so hopefully our regulations would have kept anything that harmful out.

Anyway, thought I would pass this along for anyone looking to pick up some new glassware on the cheap. Photo of glass below.
