Bo,
I was invited to a nice little sour tasting, I wish I had all those in my cellar.
Any idea what Lost Abbey beers they have at BtB? I was thinking of driving over there this weekend to see if they have any La Folie.
Pathetically, I’ve actually never been to By The Bottle. I know, I know… I’m blowing it. But I’ve heard Lost Abbey is distributed in Washington, so I was being presumptuous that they may be at By the Bottle.
The barrel aged Angel’s Share we had at the tasting at Bailey’s last month blew me away. And when I was just in Boston I grabbed a bottle of Serpent Stout from a Whole Foods and it knocked my socks off. So now I have Lost Abbey on my brain.
BTW, if you missed the Cascade meet the brewer at Green Dragon a little while back, the Sang Royale is on tap at Saraveza as of last night still.
Bo,
Yah, they normally have their standard releases at BTB and a bunch of other good stuff. I recommend not buying any Angels Share if you see it, the recent batch is completely flat.
Also, the Sang Royal is now released in the bottles, I know they have them at Beaumont Market and Baileys and probably a few other places in town.
Jerry,
The Red Poppy we had wasn’t completely flat as the photo I took of it shows, but it did have much less carbonation then last years version I had while at the brewery.

Wow! Did you just get these over the weekend or have these been piling up in your collection?
I need to make it to By the Bottle, I’ve been having a hankering for more Lost Abbey brews.

Derek,
it was my last beer of the day, so it could have been ultra-fizzy and i may not have noticed
i just remember it being fairly on the flat side, especially compared the rest of what we were drinking.
